Announcement: Condition Cards

I was smack in the development process for a few new production lines but that's been interrupted by active orders for the time being.  I was able to get the new 5e Condition Cards though so those are now available here: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/708670043/dnd-5e-condition-cards

I've also added a variation to the Evil Dead 2 Harness so clients can select whether it comes with a hook or not at purchase.

In the meantime I've still got some prototypes limping along between orders and there's some pretty interesting projects I'll be digging into soon.  Might be more to report before too long. =)

Map, Louisville

This map will be an anniversary gift for a couple in Kentucky.  It took a heckuva time to draft but I wanted to keep as much detail as I could cram in.  The laser did an awesome job of transferring that carefully preserved detail onto the leather.  The map is labelled with several locations of personal significance so the legend was blurred to protect the client's privacy.

Spellbook, Custom

This client wanted a spellbook that looked like something their PC would have made.  Re-organizing the interior of the book to sort the spells by their spell level and sprinkling in some sketchish art took up most of the time.  Then I used a japanese binding style since that's, hypothetically, what would be most approachable to a layman adventurer.  It makes for a sturdy binding but does mean the book can't lay flat when open.  Then I used milled veg for the cover engraved with a little Draconic labeling.  I'm really happy with the cover's feel and structure though I was hoping the stain would cure a tad lighter.

This project has definitely given me a lot of good thoughts for when I get around to overhauling the standard spellbook. ^_^

Testimonial: Shoulder Pad

Shoulder Pads are usually pretty routine but what isn't routine is getting such a nice letter from the client!  The client was a 70 year old postal carrier who's vintage mail bag was getting unmanageable.  I was able to get his pad in the mail within a day or two so he'd receive it as quickly as possible.

Shoulderstrap arrived this afternoon and l couldn’t be happier with it. As the photo shows, even the color is a good match. This will make all the difference in what I can carry, and that’s important to me. Important too is that you expedited the order once you knew how badly I needed it. Think of putting me on your mailing list; it’s been a pleasure doing business with you and I would be eager to be your customer in the future.

Map, Calcestra

The client was buying a gift for their DM and was looking for a map of their homebrew campaign.  They had the clever idea of their setting over a Google Maps print out of the NYC area to make use of all the fancy coast lines.  It had been awhile since I'd done a map so I was quite happy to give it a stab.  I've been enjoying using the laser to engrave text right into the leather.  It looks great!

Map Case, MtG Angel

The client had some very special angelic Magic maps to carry around so we came up with this suitably celestial case.  The lid has the White MtG logo and the front spells out MAGIC in Enochian characters.
